ARA Lab is looking for a student who has experience with mechanical design to work on a robotic design. The suitable candidate should be comfortably work with 3D mechanical design software (CAD) and mechanical manufacturing at the University’s machine shop. The suitable candidate is expected to design and produce a spraying water system, modify the current ground penetrating radar deployment system. <\/span><\/p>\n

The chosen candidate will be working at the Advanced Robotics and Automation (ARA) Lab, Department of Computer Science & Engineering.<\/span><\/p>\n

This position will start as soon as possible. <\/span>This position requires a good publication record, a good background in robotics, ROS and computer vision. Contact Dr. Hung La for more detail.

ARA Lab is looking for a PhD student<\/strong> to work at the Advanced Robotics and Automation (ARA) Lab (http:\/\/ara.cse.unr.edu), University of Nevada, Reno, for the NSF funded project: CAREER: Less Obstructive Vital Evaluation-inspection Robots for Bridges (Bridge-LOVER). Starting salary is $2100\/month plus other benefits (tuition+fee cover and health insurance). The total scholarship is upto $55K\/year.<\/span>
